David Robert Andrew Gendron, 60, of Hooksett Road, Hooksett, NH, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday evening July 6, 2011.

He was born in Claremont, NH on March 20, 1951 the son of George A. and Doris J. (Lauziere) Gendron.

David had served honorably in wartime as a Navy Seal, served in the Coast Guard, was an accountant, philanthropist, loving husband and father.

Smile, laugh... these were the standard responses of those who met David for the first time or knew him for a lifetime. A friend to all with a Heart of Gold, David touched countless lives through his work with Veterans, the elderly, his dedication to his family and friends, and his commitment and vigilance in helping those in need. He loved playing golf, guitar, bowling, and watching movies. He was a proud member of Red Sox nation and loved the Patriots.

He is the widow of Colette (Lambert) Gendron who passed away on February 26, 2004 and they were married on May 17, 1975.

David is survived by his four proud children: Matthew, Kristofor, Sasha, and Seth, daughter-in-law Jennifer Gendron, grand-daughter Isabel Gendron, honorary sons Brian Antonucci, Peter Parodi, and Doug Trudel, two sisters and four brothers, his father George and countless friends.

As the memories were made, etched in stone, those times are treasured by whomever was honored to be endowed by this great man's presence...

Graveside services will be on Saturday, July 16th at 3:30 PM in St Mary’s Cemetery on Plains Road in Claremont.
