Donald  Clayton McKinney, 33, of Pine Hill Mobile Home Park, died Saturday afternoon, January 8, 2011 at the Valley Regional Hospital.

He was born in Rota, Spain on September 1, 1977 the son of Thomas G. and Sheila D. (Murray) McKinney and had resided in Claremont most of his life.  He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1995.

Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing.

The surviving family includes his wife, Fayth A. (Haight) McKinney whom he married on September 4,  1999;  one son, Griffen T. McKinney and one daughter, Tessa May McKinney; his mother, Sheila D. McKinney all of Claremont and numerous aunts, uncles  and  cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his father.

There will be a time of visiting and sharing on Wednesday, January 12^th from 6 to 8 PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont.
