Doris Elizabeth Telesco, 92, formerly of Hillside Terrace, in Claremont died Friday afternoon February 18, 2011 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

She was born in Springfield, VT on January 20, 1919 the daughter of Arthur and Ethel (Emmerton) Brown.

She worked as a housekeeper and retired in the1980’s.

She loved doing crafts, making Christmas hats, sewing quilts, reading, yard sales, spending time with her daughters and all her grandchildren.

The surviving family includes two daughters, Nancy Lounsbury of Claremont and Joan Collette of Woodsville, NH; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, A life long Friend Louis Faucheux  of Bennington, VT; also nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by two brothers, James and Sheldon Brown and three sisters, Goldie Karyps, Dorothy Kelley Becker, Marjorie Rathermel and two half brothers, Felix and Philip Karyps.

Graveside committal services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery in South Strafford, VT in the spring.
