Florence Call, 90, of Claremont, NH, died February 11, 2011 at the McCoy Home in Newport. She was born in Hancock, New Hampshire on November 20, 1920, the daughter of Arthur B. and Olive A. (Allen) Perry. She had resided in Claremont since 1957 and had previously resided in Baldwinville, MA for 10 years and Peterborough, NH for 3 years during World War II. Florence had retired in 1985 from Kimballs Inc., where she worked as a clerk/buyer for fifteen years and previously worked for Mrs. Adelaide Patten Home Care for seven years. She was a member of the Women’s Federation Congregational Church in Claremont, the Women’s Guild Congregational Church in Baldwinville, MA, a past member of the Women’s Auxilliary of the American Legion and the Rebekah, both of Baldwinville, MA. The family includes two daughters, Becky Lee Carr and her husband Frederick of Warrenton, VA, Christine Sayball and her husband Kenneth of Claremont; one grandson, Nicholas Carr of Bonita Springs, FL; two step-grandchildren, Kenneth Sayball and his wife Tonya of Rolesville, NC, Stephanie Sayball of Springfield, MA; one sister, Esther F. Warren and her husband Kenneth of Peterborough, NH; also nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Willard Allen Perry and one sister, Ruth Olive Lopes and her husband Gus Lopes. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday afternoon, February 15th, at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont. Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 2pm prior to the funeral service. Burial will be held in the spring in Pine Hill Cemetery in Peterborough, NH.
