Gisele Raymonde Nadeau, 78, of Snumshire Lane in Charlestown, NH, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Elm Wood Health Center in Claremont. She was born in St Leon De Standon, PQ on Feb. 15, 1932 the daughter of Sauveur and Leontine (Corriveau) Corriveau and had resided in Charlestown since 1955. She worked at American Brush Co. in the assembly department for ten years and retired in 1995 and previously worked for Claremont Woven Label Company. Gisele was a communicant of St Catherine of Siena Church. She enjoyed making quilts, cooking, sewing, knitting and loved her family. The surviving family includes her husband, Marcel Joseph Nadeau of Charlestown whom she married on Oct. 29, 1955; three daughters, Nancy Hogan and her husband, Kevin of Farmington, NH, Celeste Bowden and her husband, James of Indianapolis, IN and Janet Bowie of Lisbon Falls, ME; one son, David Nadeau of Piermont, NH; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Corriveau, of, Montreal, PQ, Sylvio Corriveau of Abitbe, PQ and Jean-Yves Corriveau of St Leon de Sandon, PQ; two sisters, Lilianne Corriveau of St. Malachie, PQ, and Colette Ferland of Montreal, PQ also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by one brother, Richard Corriveau and four sisters, Denise Couture, Gilberte Corriveau, Louisa Harpin and Suzanne Chabot. Friends may call at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 20th at Eleven O’clock in St Catherine of Siena Church in Charlestown with Rev Father Michael Gendron, Pastor officiating. Interment will be at a later date in St Catherine Cemetery. The family suggests that donations may be made in her memory to St Catherine of Siena Church, P.O. Box 332, Charlestown, NH 03603. |
