Helen L. Crowe passed away on July 4th, 2011 at the age of 91.  Helen was a passionate advocate for peace and she was an idealist who always saw the good in people.  For many years, Helen was a prolific letter writer, often writing for the editors of The Eagle Times and The Valley News.  She was a kind and generous spirit right to the end of her life.  She was born in Cranston, RI on June 19, 1920.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arthur E. Crowe, sons, Robert and George Crowe, daughter, Charlotte Stirewalt, as well as five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

At her request, no services will be held.  She will be missed.
