Helen Poellot, 85, of Charlestown died March 31, 2011 at Valley Regional Hospital. She was born in Bronx, NY on December 27, 1925 the daughter of Leonard and Jennie (Lang) Poellot.  Helen was a lovely woman who was raised in the Bronx of NY.  Later in life she moved to Charlestown, NH.  Her last several years with us, where spent with the kind care of the staff as a resident of the McCoy Home for the Elderly in Claremont, NH.

Helen enjoyed when her family, including her sister Margie Eastman, niece Linda and nephew James would visit her. Helen was easy to get a smile out of.  Her face lit up when she was around cats, gardening, eating ice-cream, listening to music and dancing.  When her mother was alive, she was a loyal, dedicated daughter who took care of her family.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Sunday, April 10^th at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad St., Claremont, NH with Rev. Harold Noyes officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown.
