Marlyne J. Tenney, 72, of Jones Road in Charlestown, NH and Dunedin Street in Zephyrhills, FL died at the Springfield Health and rehabilitation Center in Springfield, VT after a long illness.

She was born in Vernon, VT on March 20, 1938 the daughter of Harold Sr. and Florence (Starkey) Haley.

Marlyne worked for Grobet File in Charlestown and for Whitney Blake in Bellows Falls, VT.

The family includes three sons, Bernie Tenney Jr. and his wife Diane of Newport, NH, Michael Tenney and his wife Marie of Charlestown, NH, and Edwin Tenney and his wife Nancy of Charlestown, NH; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Haley of Brattleboro, VT and one sister, Susan Underwood of Maine; many nieces, nephews and cousins; one special niece Wendy Haley Balcom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Tenney Sr. on January 10, 2002; one son, Danny Joe Tenney on November 6, 2004; one grandson, Jason W. Hall; six brothers, Harold Haley Jr., Harry Haley, Ted Haley, Bill Ryan, Robert Haley, and Ernest Haley.

Friends may call at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main St. Charlestown, NH on Thursday evening, February 24^th from 6pm to 8pm.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 25th at 3 O’clock in the Charlestown Congregational Church, Main St. Charlestown with Rev. Susan Grant Rosen, Pastor, officiating.

A reception will follow at the VFW on lovers Lane Road in Charlestown.

Interment will be in the spring in Pine Crest Cemetery, Charlestown, NH.
