Olga A. Walker, 86, died Wednesday evening, June 1, 2011 at the Elmwood Center in Claremont and had resided at the McCoy Home Assisted Living in Newport for the last 5 years. She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, born on July 13, 1924 the daughter of the late Demian and Anna (Kukuluk) Kucthtey. Olga graduated from Stevens High School in the Class of 1942. She worked for Dartmouth Woolen Mills and Homestead Woolen Mills for over 50 years. She is the widow of John A. Walker whom she married in 1946 and he died in 1987. The surviving family includes one daughter-in-law, Dianne Walker; one granddaughter, Samantha Decato; one grandson, Jason Walker and his wife, Kirsten, six great-grandchildren, Kasey, Jeffrey and Linsey Decato, Lauren, John and Allison Walker. She was pre-deceased by her son, Phillip Walker in 2006 and her grandson Allen Walker in 2000; two brothers, Stephen Kucthtey and Michael Kucthtey; two sisters, Katherine Dayton and Alice Strew. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at One O’clock in Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont, NH with Rev. David Crosby, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. |
