Pauline Florence Barnard, 81, formerly of Windy Acres in Charlestown, NH died Friday morning February 18, 2011 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

She was born in Duxbury, VT on August 22, 1929 the daughter of Perry and Bessie (Wells) Hackett.

Pauline worked and retired for Grobet Files in Charlestown were she made tweezers.  She married Alvin P. Barnard on January 23, 1965 and he died on December 8, 2002.

The family includes one daughter, Debra White of Sunapee, NH; one son, Andrew Bailey of Unity, NH; nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Dora Bresette, Pearl Hackett, Anna Yates, Bessie Bryant and Mildred Martin Bailey; one brother, Edward Hackett.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning February 23^rd at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont at 11am with Rev. Edward Hackett a nephew officiating.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11 am prior to the funeral service.

Burial will follow in the West Claremont Burying Grounds in Claremont, NH.
