Scott Jeremiah Spencer, 47, of Olympus Place, in Claremont, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.  He was born in Boston, MA on April 15, 1964 the son of John Clinton and Geraldine (Donahue) Spencer and had resided in Claremont since 1974.  Scott was a self employed construction worker.

He loved Harleys and NASCARS.  He also enjoyed fixing old cars and trucks.

Scott was a former member of the Claremont VFW and the American Legion.

The surviving family includes his mother, Geraldine (Donahue) Spencer of Claremont; one son, Jeremiah Scott Spencer of Greenfield, MA; one daughter, Chelsea Marie Connors of Charlemont, MA; six sisters, Susan Doherty and Diana Haley both of Randolph, MA, Jody Laberge of Claremont, Theresa Hall of Greenfield, MA, Robin Burns of Charlestown and Jill Pelkey of Stokesdale, NC; one brother, John Spencer of Claremont and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was pre-deceased by his father, John Clinton Spencer in 1974.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on  Tuesday evening August 2nd from 5 to 8 PM.

Rev. Father Stanley J. Piwowar will conduct a prayer service at the Funeral Home at 7 PM.
