Walter “Chip” Baerhuk, Jr., 52, of Hanover Street in Claremont, NH died on August 22, 2011 at Valley Regional Hospital.

He was born in Claremont, NH on July 1, 1959, the son of Walter and Elizabeth (Jones) Baerhuk, Sr.

Walter graduated from Stevens High School in the Class of 1977.

He worked in inventory control at Sonnax in Bellows Falls, VT.

Walter was an avid drummer and lover of music. He was a computer enthusiast and loved outdoor motorsports.

His family includes his parents of Claremont; two daughters, Megan Baerhuk Jensen and Michelle Baerhuk both of Claremont; one grandson, Christopher Baerhuk and one granddaughter, Autumn Jensen; two sisters, Sonia Baerhuk of Cambridge, MA and Beth Baerhuk of Keene, NH; two brothers, Brian Johnson of Unity and Bruce Johnson of Loudon.

An evening of visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 25^th from 6 to 8PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH.

Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
