Walter “Buster” Papps, 67, of Burlington, VT died on Thursday morning, May 19, 2011.

He was born in Claremont, NH on October 16, 1943 the son of Raymond H. and Wanda J. (Gierlatowicz) Papps.

He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1963.

Buster was in the National Guard. He worked for Joy Manufacturing Company as a machinist for 15 years and for Burton Snowboards as a finishing worker for 10 years.

He is survived by one son, Joey Papps; three brothers, Donald Papps, Raymond Papps and Michael Papps; two sisters, Joan Benware and Sandra Lemieux.

 An evening of visiting will be held on Monday, May 23^rd from 6 to 8PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH.
