Wenda B. White, 61, of Jefferson Ave. in Newport, NH died Sunday morning January 30, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous fight with cancer.

She was born in Needham, MA on October 29, 1949 the daughter of Frederick R. L. and Alice M. (Oakes) Wise Sr.

Wenda worked in the medical records department at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH.

The family includes her husband, Allen T. White of Newport; one son, Tyron A. Morissette of Jacksonville, NC; one daughter, Heather L. Baldwin of Newport, NH; three brothers, Frederick R. L. Wise Jr. and Dale Wise both of Massachusetts and Wayne T. Wise of Florida; one sister, Alice M. Gero of Massachusetts; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Russell S. Wise.

A gathering to celebrate her life with family and friends will be held Saturday, February 19^th from 1 to 4 pm at the Claremont Senior Center on Acer Heights Road.
