Allen Charles Leonard, 71, of Fitch Reservoir Road died suddenly Tuesday evening, October 16, 2012.   He was born on October 2, 1941 in Bandyke, MI the son of Walter and Juanita Mildred (Thompson) Ordinetz.

Allen was a man of many talents.  He worked on the big steam engines in Steamtown U.S.A., was a Ford Mechanic for several years, owned his own business, Leonard’s Auto and was currently working as a long haul driver for J&T Trucking. 

He was predeceased by his father and brother, Thomas Leonard. 

Allen is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 18 years, Linda Maccioli-Leonard. He is also survived by many loved ones, his mother, Juanita Ordinetz; a sister, Nancy Garrow and her husband, Donald of Springfield, VT; his daughters, Shelley Leonard and her son, Jesse, Renae Maccioli-McLeod and her husband, Daniel and their 3 children, Faline Kiablick of N.Y.; his sons, Robert Maccioli and his wife, Tonia and their 2 children, Christopher Maccioli and his wife, Sara and their 3 children. 

Allen was “Papa” to his nine grandchildren, Jesse Roy, Cameron Maccioli, Natasha McLeod, Hunter Maccioli, Adrieanna Maccioli, Foster McLeod, Reese McLeod, Makayla Maccioli and Kaleb Maccioli.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, October 20th from 5 to 8pm at the Stringer Funeral Home 146 Broad Street in Claremont.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon, at 1pm with Pastor Priscilla Hull, officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.
