Bernard “Bernie” Miles Reynolds, Jr., 46, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at his home after a long illness.

He was born on December 10, 1965 in Claremont, NH.

At the age of 18 he moved to Florida, where he had lived for 26 years and moving back to Claremont in 2008.

Bernie was a bartender and cook most of his life and had recently worked for the Silver Fern Grille and Bar in Claremont.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, nature in general and mostly hiking Mount Ascutney.

He was a member of the Moose and Polish Club.

Bernie loved his dogs Bruno, Iker and Bina.

The family includes his mother, Mary Ferland of Claremont; his father, Bernard, Sr. and step-mother Deidre Reynolds of Claremont; his partner of 22 years, David Allen Battle of Claremont; two sisters, Rosemarie Rouleau and her husband, Michael of Claremont, Lori Hamel and her fiancé, Rick Hagerty of South Carolina; one brother, Scott Reynolds and his wife, Luana of Woodsville, NH; step-sister, Darlene Phillips and her husband, Ralph of Ludlow, VT; best friend, Raymond Brewer of Claremont; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 16th at the Silver Fern Grille and Bar from 11-2.
