Betty Ann Ramos, 73, of Fiske Place in Claremont, NH died unexpectedly Friday, July 27, 2012 at her home.

She was born in Claremont on August 23, 1938 the daughter of Roland and Dora (Gosselin) Poulin.

Betty was an LPN working at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, MA for 30 years, retiring on July 29, 1994. She had previously worked for Forbes & Wallace in Springfield, MA and F.W. Sickles in Chicopee, MA.

She moved from Chicopee Falls, MA to Claremont on October 25, 1997.

The family includes two sons, Wayne Croteau of Somersworth, NH and Bryan Croteau and his fiancé, Jennifer Wells of South Berwick, ME ; two grandchildren, Mychal and Annie Croteau; one sister, Barbara Poulin of Newport, NH; one brother, Roland A. Poulin and his wife, Jan of North Richland Hills, TX; one nephew, Pride Poulin and numerous cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by one son, Russell G. Croteau; her parents and grandparents, Henrie and Elodia Gosselin.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30, prior to the Mass at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Church on Saturday, August 4th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Father George Majka, officiating.

Interment will follow in St Mary Cemetery.
