Edna T. (Gendron) Mayo passed away May 19, 2012 following a hard fought battle with cancer.  Born on April 19, 1929 to Alexander and Mary Louise Gendron, Edna was a life long resident of Claremont, NH.  On April 17, 1946, she married Raymond Mayo who predeceased her in 1979.  Their time was most happily spent at their summer cottage on Crescent Lake in Unity, NH with family and friends. 

 Edna retired from Tambrands, Inc. in 1997 where she worked for over 30 years as production supervisor as well as the manager of the shipping and receiving department.  In her retirement years she was very active, as a member of the Claremont Country Club, Claremont AARP, a volunteer at the Claremont Opera House and visitor to yard sales and local nurseries with her sisters.  Edna was a voracious reader and an avid gardener, enjoying her well tended vegetable and flower gardens. 

 Edna is survived by her sisters, Rita Parent and Jeannette Fortin, and her brother, George Gendron.  She was predeceased by one sister, Florence Coty. She has three children, Duane, Daniel and Kathryn, as well as three grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, and Christopher, two step-grandchildren, Susan and Sandra, and several great-grandchildren.

 Following her wishes, a private graveside service will be held on May 25, 2012.
