Floyd W. Pollard, 66, of Depot Street in Charlestown died Saturday December 15, 2012 at his home. 

He was born in Bellows Falls, VT on August 14, 1946 the son of Floyd L. and Elaine D. (Bowers) Pollard.

He joined the US Navy and was honorably transferred to a reserve status.

He was a Vietnam Veteran.

Floyd graduated from the Charlestown High School in 1964 and played on the High School baseball team.

Floyd was predeceased in death by his mother and his Uncle Edwin Bowers.

The family includes his father, Floyd and one brother, Mark D. Pollard both of South Charlestown; one sister, Dee Wilk of Claremont; two nieces, Stacey L. Wilk of Lebanon and Shannon D. Wilk of San Diego, CA; one uncle, Stanley F. Bower of Southington, CT and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Also his beloved cat, Delilah.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
