Francella "Sis" (Baker) Picard died on April 22nd at her home in Claremont, NH after a brief illness. She was born February 26, 1928 to Sydney and Eva (Cole) Baker, growing up in the West Ossipee area. She married Dorlon (Don) Picard in 1965. She worked as a commercial artist at Joy Manufacturing for many years and freelanced as a custom seamstress, cake decorator and custom sign painter. She was a talented artist and avid sports fan, enjoying any sport on TV especially the Red Sox. Her most cherished sports highlight was a limo ride to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park with her son, grandchildren and daughter. She is survived by her husband and beloved family. Son Dale Picard (wife Deb and children Janessa and Jonathan) of Claremont, daughter Lynn Maynard (husband Dean and children BJ, Wayne, John Henry, Angela, Sherry, Alicia, and Jason, their spouses and children) of Cherryville, NC, daughter Shelley Brookings (husband Tim) of Cornish, daughter Cynthia Haynes (husband Stephen and children Leah Lawry and Sarah Simpson and spouses Hannah Haynes and Joshua Lucky Haynes) of Charlestown and son Stephen Fitch (partner Nicole Leonard and children Kaileigh, Nenah, Alex, Brandon and Mason) of Langdon. She is also survived by her brother John Baker and wife Cynthia of Oxford, Ohio and families, sister-in-law Joanne Baker of Acton, Mass and families and sister-in-law Lorraine Dutilley and husband George of Claremont and families. She was predeceased by her parents and twin brother Irving Baker. Calling hours will be Wednesday at 6-8 PM at Stringer Funeral Home, Claremont. The funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00PM at Calvary Baptist Church, Claremont. Burial at Mountain View Cemetery and reception will follow back at the church.
