George Alan Peck, 59, of Grandview Road, Lempster, NH died Friday, July 20, 2012.

He was born in Concord, MA on May 15, 1953, the son of Warren and Arlene (Larson) Peck. 

George had started Peck Sand & Gravel and George Peck Construction in 1978 in Rindge, NH.  He had moved to Lempster in 1997 and had continued to run Peck Sand & Gravel and had also owned and operated Grandview Oil.

George loved enduro and woods motorcycle racing, tending to his cows and playing with his trucks in the sand pit.  He enjoyed his work and all of the people that he had worked with throughout the years.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loved his children more than anything.

George will be remembered and missed greatly for his smile and his dedication to his family and friends.

The family includes his wife, Gail E. (Smardon) Peck of Lempster whom he married on August 15, 1982; his mother, Arlene Peck of Stowe, MA; one son, Ethan Peck of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Caitlin Peck of San Diego, CA and Amanda Peck of Lempster, NH; one grandson, Nikolas; two sisters, Sharon Grason and her husband, Lee of Rindge, NH, Linda Webster and her husband, Don of Buffalo, NY; one nephew, Jordan Grason and his wife, Katie of Rindge, NH.

He was pre-deceased by one daughter, Vanessa Peck and his father, Warren Peck.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH on Friday, July 27th  from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Rindge Congregational Church in Rindge on Saturday, July 28th at Ten-Thirty in the morning with Rev. David Jadlocki, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Rindge, NH.
