Gerald Lozier, 91, of Charlestown, NH died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Mt. Ascutney Hosptial in Windsor, VT. He was born in Wallagrass, Maine on June 9, 1921 the son of Arthur Joseph and Amede (Michaud) Lozier. Gerald was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy. He had worked for several years for the City of Hartford, CT as a carpenter. He was predeceased by his first wife Gertrude Lozier in 1981 and his second wife Mildred (Olson) Lozier in 2007. Gerald leaves behind many family members and friends throughout New England area. Graveside committal services will be held on Monday morning, November 5th at 11 O’clock at the Fairview Cemetery in West Hartford, CT with Rev. James Leary, pastor of the Church of St. Peter Claver, officiating. Arrangements are with the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH. The family suggests that donations may be made in his memory to the Springfield Humane Society, 401 Skitchewaug Trail, Springfield, VT 05156. |
