Janyce Hamilton Colburne, 76, of School Street in Claremont died Tuesday January 10, 2012 at Valley Regional Hospital. 

She was born in Woburn, MA on October 15, 1935 the daughter of Edward and Frances (Hamilton) Sears. 

She was employed with Young’s Diner and Trolley Stop in Charlestown from 1972 - 79, the Junction restaurant in Claremont 1979 - 1982 and the Feedbag restaurant from 1983 - 1997 in Apache Jct., AZ.

Her family includes two sons; Thomas M. Colburne and Carl R. Colburne Jr. both of Claremont; one daughter, Teri Lynn Rosa of Alstead.  Her surviving brothers and sisters;  Karen Davidson of Arvada, CO, Victoria Jean Schrow of Haverhill, MA, Frances Meier of Ocala, FL, and Bob Haywood of Laconia, NH. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, January 14, 2012 at Eleven O'Clock in the Stringer Funeral Home with Rev. Priscilla Hull offciating.

Graveside services will be held in the spring.
