Julia Eva Stearns, 91, of Ponderosa Park in Charlestown died Monday morning April 9, 2012 at Springfield Hospital.

She was born in Bellows Falls, VT on July 6, 1920 the daughter of William and Eva (Wright) Bashaw.

She worked for many years at Keil Lock in Charlestown, NH.

Julia married Clayton P. Stearns on August 31, 1940 and he died April 18, 1984.

The family includes a daughter, Patricia Pickul and her husband Joseph of Mesa, Arizona; four grandchildren, Deborah Osborne and her husband Kevin of New York, New York, Donna Kamkar and her husband Christophe of Averill Park, New York, Robert Pickul and his wife Rebecca of Claremont, New Hampshire and Lori-Anne Morrison and her husband Andrew of Keene, New Hampshire; four great grandsons, Griffin Osborne, Eliot and Silas Morrison, and Ashton Pickul. She was preceded in death by two brothers Ernest Bashaw and Carl Bashaw.

Graveside services will be held on Friday June 1^st at 11 AM in Pine Crest Cemetery.
