Lawrence Dewitt Broadwell, age 51, passed away at his home in Unity, NH, on Saturday, October 20th, 2012. Larry was born April 15, 1961, in Niskayuna, NY, he is the son of George J. and Doris N. Broadwell.

Larry is survived by his family, father and step-mother, George and JoAnn Broadwell of Lansing, NY; his brother, Kenneth Broadwell and Jes Seaver and their children, Charles, Ezra, William, Max, and Luca of Ithaca, NY; his sister, Elizabeth Morway and her husband, Robert and their children, Robert and Jenna, Brian and Joayn, and Steven and Caitlin of Charlestown, NH; step brothers and sister, David and Robyn Hays, of Moravia, NY; Rob Hays, of San Luis Opispo, CA, and Elizabeth Hays, of Spencer, NY, their children and many extended nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He attended schools in Trumansburg, Ithaca, and attended college at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Larry was passionate about his cats, lawn and gardens, computers, woodworking, music, photography and was an avid reader. Most recently he had become involved with a network of fellow antique Simplicity and Allis-Chalmers tractor buffs, and had been travelling throughout New England buying and selling them.

A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date in Trumansburg, NY.
