Lynn D. Nelson, 68, of Cardinal Lane in Claremont, NH, died March 7, 2012 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born on February 3, 1944 the daughter of Alfred and Yvonne (Drapeau) Dupree.  She graduated from St. Mary High School in the class of 1962.  She attended Sacred Heart Nursing School in Manchester, NH and went on to be a nurse at Claremont General Hospital, Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, Sullivan County Nursing Home, and also Mount Ascutney Hospital.

Her family includes her mother, Yvonne Ferland of Claremont; her daughter, Kimberly A. Nelson of Claremont; her son, Bradley Nelson of Noblesville, IN; one brother, Dennis A. Ferland of Claremont, NH and one sister Ann B. Springer of Michigan City, IN; and many nieces and nephews.                                                                             

She was predeceased in death by her father Alfred Dupree and by her step-father Andre Ferland.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH, on Sunday, March 11th from 6-8 PM.                                 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary Church in Claremont on Monday, March 12th at Eleven O’clock with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, Pastor, officiating.                                            

Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
