Margaret “Pegi” T. Kish, 75, of Gates Mtn Road in Acworth, NH died on December 21, 2012 at her home.

She was born in Beacon, NY on November 20, 1937 the daughter of Theodore “Babe” and Lillian (Rogers) Van Vlack.

Pegi was the President of the Acworth Women’s Club, the Secretary of the Acworth Meeting House, an active member for fund raising for the Steeple Fund of the Meeting House and the Editor of the Acworth Community News Letter. She was a prolific reader. She did the 2000 miles of Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia.

Her family includes her husband, Julius S. Kish of Acworth, whom she married on June 23, 1956; her son, Kevin T. Kish of Beacon, NY; two grandsons, Tom Kish and Brian Kish of NY; one sister, Pat Boggs of AR; one brother, Theodore “ Butch” Van Vlack of Beacon, NY also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jacqueline Amen.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 28th at 11:00AM in the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont with Rev. Richard Wallace, officiating.
