Nathan Madeja, 39, of Claremont died unexpectedly Friday, May 11, 2012 at his friends home. He was born in Claremont, NH on April 13, 1973 the son of Robert and Sherry (Lockwood) Madeja and lived in Claremont most of his life. He attended Stevens High School and was a self employed contractor being a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting, deep sea fishing, vacationing in Florida, watching NASCAR- a Jeff Gordon fan, cooking and camping. Nathan loved his family, his many friends and all children. He was always ready to help out others in need and he liked to have a good time. The family includes his parents of Claremont, his wife, Denise Madeja of Springfield, VT; two sons, Seth Madeja of Claremont and Nathan Stack of Swanzey, NH; two step-children, Courtney Griffin of Springfield, VT and Justin Griffin of Windsor, VT; one grandson, Bentlei Griffin; one brother, Robert Madeja and his wife, Joanne of Celina, Texas; one sister, Michelle Madeja and her companion, Troy Burns of Lebanon, NH; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grand parents, Raymond Lockwood and Beverly Arnold; paternal grand parents, Joseph and Minnie Madeja. Visiting hours will held on Tuesday, May 15th from 6-8 PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May16th at 3:00PM. Burial will follow in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor, VT. The family suggest donations be made in Nathan’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. |
