R. Gloria Foster, 85, of Congress Street in Claremont, NH died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at her son’s home in Charlestown, NH.

She was born in Newton, NH on April 15, 1927 the daughter of Ray E. and Alice R. (Mansaur) Fowle.

Gloria liked gardening, quilting and sewing. She loved spending time with her family and visiting friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Edgar Foster whom she married on July 1, 1950 and he died on November 10, 2006 and a grandson, Richard L. Foster in 2008

The surviving family includes two sons, Neal Foster and Richard Foster both of Charlestown; two daughters, Cindy Siefker of Chicago Heights, IL and Tammy Van Olmen of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street on Monday evening, May 14^th from 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning, May 15^th at 11AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
