Roseanne (Henderson) Sullivan of Charlestown, NH, on September 18, 2012, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 61. Born on November 21, 1950 in Dorchester, MA and raised in Hyde Park, MA, she was the fifth of twelve children born to William F. and Beatrice (Morgan) Henderson. She grew up surrounded by her siblings, cousins, and many friends, including her future husband. She was a 1968 graduate of Girls’ Latin School (now Latin Academy) in Boston. She attended Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and Elmira College in Elmira, NY, graduating in 1972. She had a lifelong fondness for New England and its seasons and spent her free time gardening, camping, hiking, and skiing with her husband and family. Roseanne lived in her adopted hometown of Charlestown, NH for 29 years, and was happiest when all of her children and granddaughter were home for the weekend, laughing together around the kitchen table and enjoying a meal she had lovingly prepared. Since 1996, she had served as an operations manager for a digital-audio software firm in Lebanon, NH. She loved her job, and the role she played in the development of software for musicians and music-based iphone apps. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, William M. Sullivan of Charlestown, NH; her daughters Elizabeth of Brighton, MA, and Mara of Charlestown, NH; son Aidan of Newmarket, NH; granddaughter, Estella Rose Biss of Brighton, MA and son-in-law David P. Biss of Brighton, MA. She is also survived by ten siblings: William F. Henderson of Hull, MA, Daniel M. Henderson of Norwood, MA, Mary B. Henderson of Arlington, MA, John P. Henderson and James A. Henderson of Milton, MA, Elizabeth M. Henderson of Schenectady, NY, Stephen A. Henderson of Readville, MA, Matthew J. Henderson of Champaign, IL, Philip W. Henderson of Foxboro, MA, Sarah Gale of Jamaica Plain, MA. She is predeceased by her parents, and a brother, George K. Henderson. In addition to her immediate family and siblings, she leaves behind 32 nephews and nieces as well as many cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. |
