Bruce Rodney Murray, 72, of Donald Street in Claremont, NH died at his home on Sunday, June, 9, 2013.

He was born in York, Maine on March 30, 1941 the son of Albert A. and Elizabeth Louise (Yaddow) Murray.

He was in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962. He was at the Bay of Pigs.

Bruce worked at many ski areas like Pat’s Peak, Mt Sunapee, Okemo, Crochet MTN, Dartmouth Skiway and Jiminy Peak as a groomer and trail builder. He also worked as a carpenter, welder and union iron worker.

His family includes his wife, Pamela I. (Patten) Murray whom he married on November 24, 1962; one daughter, Coleen Murray; one son, Todd Murray and a grandson, Bryson Murray all of Claremont; two brothers, Walter K. Murray of North Newport and Daniel R. Murray of Cornish also several nieces and nephews and his dogs, JJ, Rudy and Warrior.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Murray and Clarence “Zip” Murray.

Friends and family may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Thursday, June 13^th from 10AM to 12PM.

Funeral service will be held at noon with Donna Leslie, officiating.
