Camille Childs, 88, formerly of Dane Avenue in Claremont, NH died on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Sullivan County Health Care in Unity, NH.

She was born in Claremont, NH on November 20, 1924 the daughter of Moses and Mabel (Sargent) Fontaine.

Camille was a graduate of Stevens High School.

She loved to collect cats and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and listening to music of all kinds.

Her family includes her daughters, Cheryl Gendell and her husband, Steve of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Vickie McKay and Bill Laber of Somersworth and Marcia Takes of Somersworth; a daughter in law, Patty Childs; three brothers, Louis Fontaine, Bernard Fontaine and H. Victor Fontaine; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gendell, Erik Gendell and his wife, Katrina, Daniel Gendell and his wife, Bridgette, Nicholas Childs, Chelsea Childs, Douglas McKay, Melissa Murphy and Justin Woodell, Alicia Bactad and her husband, Neil and Arthur Takes and his wife, Maggie and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Childs and a son, Mitch Childs.

Private services will be held at a later date.
