Catherine Theresa (Galluzzo) Smith, born August 31, l913 in Berlin, NH passed away on May 30, 2013 at the age of 99 years.

Catherine's parents, Nicodemo and Victoria (Fusto) Galluzzo, immigrated from Italy near the end of the 19^th century.

She married Frank W. Smith upon graduation from Berlin High School in 1934.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty (James) Thompson of Charlestown, NH and Ft. Myers, FL and two sons, Frank (Carolyn) Smith, Jr. of Swanzy, NH and Richard (Trudy) Smith of Belgrade Lakes, ME and Ft. Myers, FL.

Her husband, Frank, died in l976. She is also predeceased by a grandson, Bradley Hill, in l986 and her siblings, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Catherine’s (or Kay as she liked to be called) 6 grandchildren, Catherine Hill Boedtker, Scott Hill, Stefanie Smith Boucher, Deanna Smith, Patricia Smith Nowicki and Stephen Smith will serve as pall bearers.

Catherine has 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

“Kay” loved and adored her family.  She was devoted to her faith. In her spare time she enjoyed her cats and crocheting afghans.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown on Monday June 3^rd from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the Mass.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Catherine’s Church on Monday, June 3^rd at 11 AM with Father Steven Lepine officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
