Darlene Marie Carrier, 52, of Newport, NH died on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.

She was born in Claremont, NH on December 1, 1960 the daughter of Clifford and Susie (Smith) Carrier.

Dar had worked at Dartmouth Woolen Mill.

The family includes her daughter, Jennifer Holt of South Carolina; her son, Gary Thomas of Berlin; two grandchildren, Mathew and Ethan Williamson; her brothers, Chris Carrier and his wife, Eva of Unity and David Carrier; her sister, Theresa Holt of Georgia and her step sister, Carol Scott.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Dowlin.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, July 27^th at 11AM with Pastor Scott Kearns of Grace River Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
