Dennis Michael Peaslee, 51, of Claremont died unexpectedly Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

He was born in Athol, MA on April 14, 1962 the son of Elmer Edwin and Jacqueline Elaine Peaslee.

Dennis had worked at Recycling Services as an equipment operator for over 20 years.

Dennis loved the group KISS, fishing, hunting, Nascar and the Red Sox, Bruins and Dallas Cowboys.

He loved watching his kids play baseball and football.

Dennis loved to go to the Country Kitchen every Saturday with his family.  He was more than a father he was a best friend to all of his kids, no matter what the circumstances were he was always by their side.  His love for his children was unconditional.

The family includes his fiancé Terri L. Daignault of Claremont; three daughters, Krystal Peaslee, Laura Peaslee and Emily Peaslee; three sons, Michael Peaslee, Dennis Peaslee, Jr. and Eric Peaslee; two step-daughters,  Melissa Palardy and Nicole Palardy; one step-son, Jay Palardy; two sisters, Lisa Langlois and Mary Peaslee; three brother-in-laws, Norman Lee, Tink Johnson and Jack Partlow; one foster brother, Rocki “Meathead” Wentzell; five grandchildren, Michael Peaslee, Jr., Colton Knight, Alexzander Birsky, Michael Coughlin and Matthew Hewitt, Jr., several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by one sister, Sheila Lee.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 5^th at the Stringer Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6^th at 11:00 AM with Priscilla Hull at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont, NH.

A reception will follow at Union Church Hall on Old Church Road in Claremont.

Burial will be held at a later date in Tunbridge, VT.
