Elaine Margaret LaBounty, 61, of Jeff Drive, Charlestown died Saturday morning, January 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Springfield, VT on August 17, 1951, the daughter of the late Gordon Burt and Irene (Lamphere) Kennett.

She was the plant manager of Grobet File for several years.

Elaine loved spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed fishing, camping, working in her flower gardens and cooking.

The surviving family includes two daughters, Melissa LaBounty and her finance, Jason Chase of Charlestown and April Peck of Concord; three step-children, Mickey LaBounty and his wife, Cindy of Keene, NH, Joanne Hobbs and her husband, Ben of Winchester, Debbie Weiss and her husband Bob of Michigan; four brothers, Donald Kennett, Wendall Kennett and his wife, Shirley, Wayne Kennett and his wife, Bobbie, Jimmy Kennett and his wife, Nancy all of Charlestown; four sisters, Romona Sweat of Ryegate, VT, Gloria Coburn of Missouri, Bonnie Dalley of Bellows Falls, VT, Dale McGiven and her husband, Ron of Bellows Falls, VT; five grandchildren, Kobey Chase, Mikala Chase, Jaylynn Chase; Amanda Peck and Kevin Peck; one great granddaughter, Destiny Bryant; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her dogs who were her loving companions, Itzy and Honey Girl.

She was pre-deceased by her longtime companions, Davis M. Partlow and William McLain, Jr.; one sister, Judy Colburn; one brother, Terry Kennett; one sister-in-law, Pat Kennett; two grandsons Ryan LaBounty and McKuy Chase.

Funeral service will be held Friday evening, January 18^th at 6:00 PM at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street, Charlestown, NH, with Rev. Donna Leslie, Pastor of the Croydon Flat Church, Croydon, NH, officiating.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-6 PM prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 17^th at 11AM in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, NH with Rev. Donna Leslie, officiating.
