Eleanor Mae Guilbault, 88, a longtime resident of Claremont, died on Sunday morning, April 14, 2013 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born in Claremont, NH on October 29, 1924 the daughter of Bernard E. and Edna A. (Butler) Gould. Eleanor did bench work at Cone Blanchard Machine Company in Windsor, VT and had also previously worked for Hartford Eichenauer. Eleanor enjoyed the simple yet important things, such as spending time with friends and family, especially her granddaughter, who she called daily to chat with. She loved to knit and often made baby outfits for NICU at Dartmouth, she also enjoyed her cat, Milo. She is survived by her granddaughter, Rebecca Matson and her niece, Robin Hughes both of Claremont. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Norman Guibault on March 16, 1957; her daughter, Denise Matson on July 22, 2009 and two brothers, Bernard E. Gould, Jr. and Robert Gould. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 20th in St. Mary Cemetery at Eleven O’clock in the morning with Rev. Donna Leslie, Pastor of the Croydon Flat Church, officiating. |
