Lewis R. Hall, 82, of Charlestown Road, Claremont, NH died on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Valley Regional Hospital. He was born in Plymouth, NH on December 19, 1930 the son of Lewis P. and Gladys (Crane) Hall. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army. Lewis worked as a rewinder at the Claremont Papermill for 35 years. He loved to rebuild antique cars especially a 1930 Ford truck and a 1957 Chevy Bel Air. The family includes his wife, Mary R. Dings whom he married on May 3, 1958; a son, Lawrence L. Hall and his wife, Julie; a daughter, Donna M. Allen and her husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Jeremy Hall and his fiancé, Crystal, Hilary Banner and her husband, Sam, Jeffery Hall and his wife, April, Brady Bennett and his wife, Valerie, Christina Sherwood and her husband, Danny and Samantha Allen; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Madison and Alicia Hall, Alison, Emily and Sophia Banner, Daniel Sherwood, Jr. and Elizabeth Sherwood, Betsy, Junette, Mya, Tyler, Hannah and Ryan Bennett. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Hall and a brother, Lyall Hall. Friends and family may call at Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday evening, October 25th from 6 to 8PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, October 26th at 11AM at the Grace River Church in Claremont. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery with military honors. |
