Mary Noella Morin, 93, passed away on Saturday evening, March 16, 2013 at the Sullivan County Health Care, Unity, NH.

She was born in Tourville, Canada on December 25, 1919 the daughter of Napoleon and Alma (Barbeau) Fortin.

Mary had a long and successful career as a supervisor in area shoe shops and in Lisbon and Gorham, NH.  She loved to travel and spent her retirement seeing the world and the Unites States.

The family includes two sister-in-laws, Jeanette Fortin and Lucille Morin both of Claremont; brother-in-law, Raymond Morin of Franklin, NH and several nieces and nephews.  Mary is also survived by all the “angels” that she was fond of calling people who helped her.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Francis Morin whom she married in 1943; one brother, Joseph “Nap” Napoleon Fortin; one sister, Amanda C. Caron.

The family would like to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Sullivan County Health Care.  The care she received during her last illness was exceptional and Mary was treated like family.

Also a thank you to Connecticut Valley Home Care & Hospice.  Not only did Mary receive the outstanding care from both organizations, but the family was treated with much appreciated kindness.

There will be no visiting hours.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
