Patricia Marie Champagne Anderson, 88, of Summer Street in Claremont, NH passed away peacefully at DHMC on Wednesday, January 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

She was born in June 8, 1924 the daughter of William Henry and Lena Etta Valley Champagne.

Pat married Russell Anderson on July 13, 1965.

She was a loving mother and homemaker.  She worked in a few shoe shops in the area including the International Shoe Company.  She sewed doll clothes for the Dearborn out of Enfield.  She made doll furniture and dollies that everyone enjoyed.  She even built a stone wall in her backyard.  She really enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels.  She also fed the trout in her brook hot dogs and pepperoni.  People would try to catch them and she would laugh because they wouldn't even bite at their worms.

The surviving family includes, one son, Donald Jarvis and his wife, Gloria of Claremont; three daughters, Linda Dyer and her partner, Marlene of St. Petersburg, FL, Sandy Southard and her husband, Rick of Charlestown and Tammy Jones-Rogers and her fiance, Steve of Croydon; two sisters, Lucy Wallace of St. Cloud, FL and Evelyn Newoczyk of Claremont; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, two brothers, Victor Champagne and Henry Davis; three sisters, Florence Webb, Margaret Baker and Pauline; one grandson Cary Wheeler and one great grandson, Calel Wheeler.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 10th at 2 PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, in Claremont.

Friends and family may call at the Funeral Home from 1 - 2 PM prior to the service.

Burial will follow in West Claremont Burying Grounds.
