Shirley A. Austin, 66, of Kimball Place in Claremont Died unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, February 10, 2013.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 16, 1947, the daughter of William and Ann (Sheren) Wiercinski.

Shirley was the Past Chaplin of the Windsor Elk Lodge #1665, Past President of the VFW Auxiliary Post #808, life member of the Polish American Citizen Club of Claremont and a member of the American Legion Post #29 in Claremont.

The family includes her husband, Edward Austin of Claremont, who she married on October 20, 1985; two children, Kenneth Damato of Lewiston, ID and Valerie Dyer of Anaheim, CA; two step children, Laurie Hartwell of Hummelstown, PA and Stephen Austin of Harrisburg, PA; one sister, Lois Peterson of Bremerton, WA; several nieces and nephews.

Per her request there will be no funeral services.
