Thomas Edward Weld, 64, of Maria Street in Claremont, NH died on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Valley Regional Hospital.

He was born in Claremont, NH on July 15, 1948 the son of Carl C. and Irene (Gorham) Weld.

Tom enjoyed cooking, guns, boating, fishing, working on small engines and watching racing. He loved working for Sturm Ruger.

The family includes his wife, Donna L.(Stone) Weld whom he married on July 15, 1972; two sons, Dan Weld and Ross Weld both of Claremont; one brother, Peter Weld and his wife, Debra of Charlestown; one sister, Jean Barbour and her husband, Paul of Unity; two brother-in-laws, Tom Stone of Newport and Harold Stone and his wife, Mary of Charlestown also several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Kathryn Leigh Weld on July 25, 1999.

Funeral services will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Friday, March 29^th at 3PM with Rev. Dale Nicholas, officiating.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 3PM prior to the service.

A pot luck reception will be held at the Claremont Country Club following the service.
