Alice E. Burnham, 67, of Lempster, died on July 26, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle of Cancer. She was born in Cornish, NH on October 11, 1946 the daughter of the late Ivan and Elizabeth (Johnson) Simonds. Alice had retired from Douglas Toy after many long loyal years of service. She also enjoyed spending time with her family going to all the grandchildrens games, shopping with the girls, gardening and the love of watching all of her hummingbirds. The family includes her love and soul mate, Terry L. Marsh of 15 years; two sons, Jeff Warren of Hillsdale, NY, Timothy Warren and his companion, Robin Salvatore of South Cairo, NY; extended family, Terina Schoolcraft and her husband, Paul, Lori Pond and her husband Brian and Terry A. Marsh and his wife, Heather; eleven grandchildren, Eric Warren, Holly Warren, Mackenzie Warren, Nicole Schoolcraft, Nicholas Pond, Cameron Pond, Mariza Marsh, Cody Schoolcraft, Ashlyn Marsh, Brianna Marsh and Nevin Marsh; one great granddaughter, Ella Warren; one brother, Glendon; three sisters, Ruth, Lillian and Linda; numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. She was pre-deceased by five brothers, Frank, Ivan Jr., Robert, George and Bob and one sister, Grace. Friends and family may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, August 2nd from 11 AM – 1 PM. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday with Rev. Father Shawn M. Therrien, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Alstead.
