Basil P. Hardy, 74, of Charlestown, died on Tuesday morning, February 11, 2014 at Elm Wood Center in Claremont.

He was born in Newport, VT on June 17, 1939, the son of Johnathan and Ethel Hardy.

He had attended school in Charlestown.

Basil had owned and operated the Fish Dairy Farm in Charlestown all his life.

The family includes his wife of 55 years Patricia O. Fish; one daughter, Elizabeth Hardy and her companion, Ronald LeClair; two sons, Paul Hardy and Peter Hardy all of Charlestown; two granddaughters, Ashley and Erica of Zanesville, OH; one sister, Beverly Willis of Inverness, FL.

There will be no visiting hours or funeral service.

Burial will be in the spring in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown.

Arrangements are with the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street, Charlestown, NH.
