Craig Derek Moote, 49, of 8 Bay Street in Claremont, died unexpectedly
of natural causes on Thursday morning, December 11, 2014 in Pemberton,
NJ while on a hunting trip.
He was born in Claremont, NH on May 6, 1965, the son of George E. and
Patricia A. (Rock) Dexter.
He graduated from Stevens High School and the NH Vo-Tech College where
he obtained a degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Craig worked in his profession nearly 30 years at Dartmouth
Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
Craig loved riding his ATV with friends, hunting, fishing and taking
white water rafting trips down the Pemi.
He was a talented music enthusiast, who wrote, sang, played
guitar and recorded music with some of his best buds.
He was an amazing cook and took great pleasure in feeding all of us.
Craig loved large, lived for the moment and enjoyed life to the
fullest. He had a heart of
gold and would do anything for anyone.
His family includes his son, Joshua Moote; his mother, Patricia Dexter
and her husband William; his sister, Michelle Bustamante and her fiancé
Gerald Usery, his brothers, Charles Moote and his wife Jenna and Roland
Bustamante, his nieces, Taylor Bustamante and Jaimie Smith; two
step-sisters, Kimberly Fulford
and Monica Rook; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended
family.
His beloved friends include Julie and Matt Cox, Eric and Karli
Nissenbaum and countless others.
He was rarely without his sweet dog, Chi Chi his “little man”.
He was predeceased by his father, George Moote.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 18th from
6-8 PM at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont.
A prayer service will be held at 8 PM with Rev. Father Shawn M.
Therrien, Pastor of St. Mary Church.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date after the holidays. |
