Gabrielle T. LaCasse, 95, of Blue Ridge, VA and formerly of Claremont, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

She was born in St. Evariste, PQ, Canada on December 10, 1918, the daughter of Francois X. and Euphrosie (Faucher) LaCasse.

She is the widow of George O. LaCasse and is survived by two sons, George N. “Whitey” LaCasse and his wife, Lucille of Blue Ridge, VA and Gary A. LaCasse and his wife, Sarah of Stratham, NH; one daughter, Elaine L. Peter and her husband, Richard of Flower Mound, TX; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Virginia.

Graveside services will be held in St. Mary Cemetery on Friday morning, April 11^th at 10:00 AM with Rev. Stanley J. Piwowar, officiating.
