Janice M. MacDonald, 74, of Charlestown, NH died on Monday morning, December 15, 2014 at Cedar Hill in Windsor, VT.

She was born in Worcester, MA on February 18, 1940 the daughter of William Arthur and Agnes A. (Forsman) Gallant.

Janice was a graduate of Commerce High School.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Worcester State and her Master’s in Special Education from Keene State.

She was a teacher in Acworth, North Charlestown and Charlestown.

The family includes her son, David MacDonald and his wife, Bridget of Levittown, NY; two grandchildren, Christopher and Emma; a sister, Jean Robertson of Sterling, MA and a brother, John Gallant of FL.

Visiting hours will be held at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street in Charlestown on Saturday, December 20^th from 2-4 PM.

Funeral services will be held privately.

Burial will be in the spring in Pine Crest Cemetery.
