Jonathan Michael Varnum, Jr., 17, died tragically Sunday morning, August 10, 2014  in Unity, NH, after injuries from a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Claremont, NH on December 17, 1996, the son of Jonathan M. Varnum, Sr. and Joice A. Paskell.

Jonathan was a senior at Stevens High School, where he was named student of the year and was an aspiring machinist.

He loved spending time with his entire family and his large circle of friends.

Jonathan enjoyed 4-Wheeling, cars, food and snowmobiling.

He will be remembered most for his kind heart and sense of understanding of things along with his contagious smile

The family includes his father, Jonathan M. Varnum, Sr. of Unity; his mother, Joice A. Paskell and step-father, Shante Bazell of Claremont; one brother, Cody Reed of Unity; three sisters, Olivia Baker of Claremont, Isabella Varnum of Unity, Peyton Bazell of Claremont; paternal grandparents, Robert and Carol Varnum of Unity; maternal grandparents, David and Bonnie Paskell of North Anson, ME; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Friends and family may call at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street, Claremont on Friday, August 15^th from 4-8PM.
