June Anne Parkinson, 83, of Cornish, NH died on Monday morning, August 25, 2014 at the Sullivan County Health Care in Unity, NH.

She was born in Claremont, NH on December 10, 1930 the daughter of Lewis and Annie (Maroney) Tashro.

June enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and reading. She belonged to the Cornish and the Pamona Granges. She took care of her cousin, Ken Tashro for 20 years.

She married Clifton Parkinson and he died in 1991.

The family includes her daughter, Patricia Havens of California; her sons, Steven Parkinson and his wife, Janet of Portsmouth, Michael Parkinson, Mark Parkinson and Jon Parkinson all of Cornish; 7 grandchildren, Charles, Christina, Sara, Jordan, Michael, Vanessa and Jason; 5 great-grandchildren.

The family would to thank the staff of Sullivan County Healthcare for the wonderful care of their mother.

A memorial service will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont on Saturday, August 30^th at 11AM with Priscilla Hull.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
