Marcel Joseph Nadeau, 84, of Snumshire Lane in Charlestown, NH died on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home.

He was born in St Leon De Standon, PQ on Dec. 28, 1929 the son of Hilaire and Philomene (Corriveau) Nadeau and had resided in Charlestown since 1955.

He worked in general construction and cement work for Norm Beaudry Construction in Charlestown for twenty-six years, for Bascom Construction of Claremont for four years and with Beaudry Enterprises of Charlestown since 1989, as a delivery truck driver.  He is a communicant of St Catherine of Siena Church.

Marcel loved to hunt, fish and tend his garden.

He was the widow of Gisele Raymonde (Corriveau) Nadeau whom he married on October 29, 1955 and she died on January 16, 2011.

The surviving family includes his three daughters, Nancy Hogan and her husband, Kevin of Farmington, Celeste Bowden and her husband, James of Indianapolis, IN and Janet Bowie of Lisbon Falls, ME; one son, David Nadeau  of Piermont, NH; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Adonia Nadeau of St. Hubert, PQ;  four sisters, Simone Nadeau, Jeanne Corriveau and Beatrice Corriveau all of St. Leon de Standon, PQ,  and Rose Anne Poulin of Levis, PQ;  also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dog, Hollie.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Levis J.A. Nadeau and Rosaire Nadeau and three sisters, Marie-Anna Noel, Adrienne Corriveau and Georgette Labonte.

Friends and family may call at the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, Main Street on Tuesday, November 11th from 10 to 10:45AM. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Catherine of Siena Church in Charlestown on Tuesday at 11AM.

Burial will follow in St Catherine Cemetery.
